Additions to my library

Went shopping at bethesda today... bought a few books that i always wanted to read....

Romans: The Niv Application Commentary: From Biblical Text to Contemporary Life (Hardcover)
by Douglas J. Moo (Author)

i have been waiting for this for a long time ... cos it is douglas moo and i like to read somthing that is 'applicational', instead of scholarly stuff... to truly understand romans is a pinnacle in a christian's life...

Christ Plays in Ten Thousand Places: A Conversation in Spiritual Theology (Hardcover)
by Eugene H. Peterson (Author)

This is another book that i wanted to start on ... it is the first book in a 5- part series on spiritual theology... it is by eugene peterson! so it shd be good... * i bet it is good stuff man*

Basic Christianity (Ivp Classics) (Paperback)
by John R. W. Stott (Author)

i got this at a steal of $6.75 ... it is a classic that i havent read....

The Screwtape Letters (Paperback)
by C. S. Lewis (Author)

this is another classic that i never got the chance to touch... got it at 16.20... so-so price ... i was asked to read more CS Lewis cos ppl say it is a must-read... and i heard that this book is written in a creative way... ( the senior devil and junior devil thing).... so i decided to give it a try... i admit i hardly touch CS Lewis stuff....

so... here is what i plan to read... sad to say i have a lot of other things to read before this... i am finishing a long obedience as a devotional.... and finishing up the last 3 exciting of connecting by larry crabb.. it is a brilliant book talking abt good and bad urges and how it all relates to connecting with ppl... it attempts to answer the golden question: why relationships dun work? haiz...

welll.... after shopping ( which i did in between time at the hospital), i receive a surprise call from yikai from aussie land... he is having exams now and still wooing this NTU girl... we talked like * beast* haha... i reallly missed him talking rubbish... haiz... thanks yikai... thanks for calling and connecting...

God, please give me discipline and grace to finish books first ... then read these stuff... i not going to unpack them yet.... it is going to be a great temptation... ;-)
