A God We Can Trust

Scripture: Psalm 37:1-9

Who can you trust? People make promises they cannot keep, break confidences they don't want to keep and tell you things that are not true. But God keeps every single promise He makes, never lies and never breaks confidence.

There are many we things we trust. Among them are:

* People
* Finances
* Position
* Power

There are several reasons we can trust God:

1. He is the one true God (2 Sam. 7:21-22).
21Because of your promise, and according to your own heart, you have brought about all this greatness, to make your servant know it. 22Therefore you are great, O LORD God. For there is none like you, and there is no God besides you, according to all that we have heard with our ears.

2. He is the essence of truth itself (Psalm 31:5).
Into your hand I commit my spirit;
you have redeemed me, O LORD, faithful God.

3. He is absolutely faithful (Lam. 3:23).
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness

4. He has all power. (Matt. 28:18).
And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

5. He is in absolute control of every situation and circumstance (Psalm 103:19).
The LORD has established his throne in the heavens,
and his kingdom rules over all.

6. He loves us unconditionally (Eph. 5:1-2).
Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. 2And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

7. He never changes (Heb. 13:8).
8Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Closing

Wise men and women humble themselves before their loving Father, ask for His forgiveness and trust Him for salvation. Living life at its best begins there.
