Feelings deceives...

sometimes it is better not to be guided by feeling... somethings that feel right in a moment may not feel so right after sometime... eg.infatuation. eg. sex.

eternal life or an eternal life of regrets?

somethings are like that: once started , you cannot stop.... it applies to positive habits, as well as destructive habits.... how often sexual failures failed to reconnect to the christian community because of shame? well, choose to live at all cost... choose what is right ... it is hard... it may involve giving up a satisfaction that brings emptiness at the end of it... but it is worth it.... and we must do it! sometimes, once started we cannot stop... - we cannot stop thinking about something... we cannot stop doing that something... we cannot stop ourselves from slipping into that mode again and again...

so the first thing to do is ask yourself: do you really love Jesus more than all the above-mentioned... to solve a heartbreak, maybe the antidote would be to really stop all thoughts about that person... try looking to God more... rather than swimming in the thoughts of the other person? that is the mountain we have to climb: to stop looking at the mountain( ie that person), and more to God...
