Matthew 18

Welcome to 2009.... My first post of the new year... Happy New Year once againzzz.....

Here is my discovery of the day: Matthew 18
" The question of how disciples should live with each other finds an answer in the discourse about humility and forgiveness (Mt 18). "

Well... very simply the 5 episodes in Matthew 18 will be something i will be praying through this season. It is foundational to any christian leaders... to be always humble before God and man... and to be always forgiving... ;-)

to be humble and forgiving? that is the tallest order yet... but essential in our relationships, esp in the case of fellow disciples, who are not very lovable at times of cos.... but God's desire is for unity, for fellowship and for love within the house. I recall a sister who prays in times of anger when a fellow member returned late from running an errand. It causes her anxiety and worry. She had all the reasons to lash out at her... but she walk out and pray... there are many such lessons to learn from... and i am thankful that i can rely on such lessons to remind myself of humility and forgiveness.
