The God Delusion?

While i am regrettably upset by the incidents quoted by Dawkins, I must say that Dawkins is an intellect. Or at least it appears to be. TO quote a baptism mishap (chapter 9 -Edgardo Mortara) done by Catholic Church in the 1850s ( without understanding the significance of the rites) is like picking on a sick boy. He is simply picking up on points where he can attack without considering the cause and effect of other things the same denomination has done: How about Mother Teresa? He blames a mind "hijacked by religious faith?", then by return to Dawkins would simply be: so what do you propose? A return to a mind "hijacked by the beasty nature of human beings? "

Little did i know that at the moment i am typing this, i am falling into Dawkin's pool of senseless religious fanantics... but think along... that is his trap in drawing such response to himself. I am sorry about his past hurts, obviously he has something against the church that was probably formed in his childhood, and i do agree that some camps of religion (not just restricted to Christianity) may have distorted psychological growth of a person at any age, i DO NOT think his suggestion to leave the faith, or to return to 'animalism' would be a good solution. How would one behave without moral boundaries? Like an animal! There would be rapes, anarchy and further disorder as depict in Clockwork Orange, 1984 and Brave New World.

Cause and effect. B follows A. So when something goes wrong with B, we go back to seek redress with A. While this may be true to some things in life, i like to argue that it is not that straight-forward and simple to the complex issue of life-on-earth. There is another reality beneath the surface of what we see. and here is a classic example of how Satan poisons the mind of people- even the mind of intellects such as Dawkins.

Dawkins began his arguments that the world would be a better place without religion- besides, most wars today are waged in the name of God or another. While suffering would not end, even if all are converted to Dawkinsism; suffering does point us back to a reality- that someone else exist beyond us, and that there are things one cannot be in control of.
